As we go through life our bodies adapt to the movements we make (or don’t make). Those we make most often become easier as our bodies change to accommodate these movements, keeping us flexible in that dimension or building muscle to help us make the movement. Those we make less frequently (or never) start becoming harder and eventually disappear from our range, especially as we age. Keep challenging yourself to make the rarer movements at the end of your range: reach for the items on the top shelf, squat down and back up, stand tall (don’t slouch!), explore the range of movement in each of your joints (safely 🙂). Own your body and its movements!
