Yoga is as much about expanding our minds as working with our bodies. Often our narrow, fixed views of ourselves and others hold us back. We don’t believe we can meditate, we don’t think we’ll ever be able to achieve that posture, we don’t think that other person will ever change. These views do nothing more than limit us and prevent opportunity for change and progress. Yoga and meditation allows us to find mental space so that we can expand on a personal level and entertain new possibilities outside our current experience. We’re able to work in the grey areas between extremes and transcend these to find something more true.
