My name is Laura, I started practising yoga in 2011 as I was looking for something to help me with anxiety and found this and so much more. I find that yoga and meditation help me find connection with my body, slow down and find space and calm in a busy world. I have recently completed my 200 hour teacher training with Yoga Campus and am just starting out as a yoga teacher in my own right. I really want to be able to share everything that yoga has given me with others as I know how beneficial it can be. I personally practice Satyananda yoga but have practised a range of other styles – Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin and Restorative – over the years. My teaching currently focuses on gentle, functional movement, cultivating awareness of body and mind and finding space and relaxation using tools such as posture work, breathing practices, meditation, guided deep relaxation and yoga nidra.
